She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Grikmanis and Zigrida Grikmanis; her husband V. Raymond Silins; and her daughter Karen Ingrid Silins. She is survived by: her sibling Alfjes Grikmanis (late Janet); her nephews, Tim Grikmanis (Amie) and Todd Grikmanis; and her friend Tina Hickey.
