She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Nancy Reusser (Layne) of Wichita, Karen Hinz (David) of Grayslake, Illinois, Rick Melgren (Susanne) of Friendswood, Texas, Dan Melgren (Kaye) of Liberty, Missouri, Steve Melgren (Linda) of Wichita, Kansas, Jim Melgren (Glenda) of Osage City, Kansas and Mike Boring (George King) of Albuquerque; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyle Melgren (Tara), Kevin Melgren (Katie), Jake Melgren (Valentine), Ty Melgren, Joel Melgren, Justin Melgren, Bella Melgren, Hannah Willis (Jordan), Chloe Spencer (Sean), Abby Werhan (Zach), Liam Reusser, Holly Williams (Drew), Kaitlyn Rauckman (Grant), David Melgren, Alan Hinz and Laura Arlene Hinz. She is also survived by 17 great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Park University Anderson Chapel (5159 N Spaulding Ave, Chicago, IL 60625).
