We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2024, at the age of 58, Arlene Dashnaw of Glenview, Illinois, born in Norwalk, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael; her children, Marisol and Tyler; her siblings, Ariadne and Bernard (Lourdes); her mother Ana Bastos of Scottsdale, AZ.; and also Giana. She was also cherished by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Compassion International (https://www.compassion.com), a community close to Arlene's heart and soul as she sponsored two children from Guatemala for many years.
