She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Castellano and Mary Castellano; her husband Edward Nowakowski Sr.; her son Edward Nowakowski Jr.; and her siblings, Lucille, Rose, Therese, Marie, Lee Joan and John.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Krickl (John) of Arlington Heights, IL and Cynthia Weyer (Philip); her brother James Castellano (Louise); her grandchildren, Jay (Lauren), Jenna, Mikey, Amelia, Timothy, Edward III, Nicholas, Zachary and Luke; and her great grandchildren, Hannah and Benjamin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
