It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shanti Rani Ghai of Glendale Heights, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thakar Dass Ghai; her parents, Chunilal Anand and Lajwanti Anand; and her grandchild Amit Ghai. She is survived by: her children, Ravi Ghai (Urmil) and Jyoti; and her grandchildren, Tarun "Bobby" Chandhok, Deepak "Goldy" Chandhok, Akhil Chandhok, Hema Puri, Priti Arora, Nitin Chandhok, Reena Chandhok, Ruchi Miller, Sapna Isaacs, Vikas Ghai and Rahul Ghai.
