It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Bartgen of Glendale Heights, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Bartgen; her parents, Eleanor Johnson and Ernest Johnson; and her stepchildren, Jack Bartgen and Janet Rose.
She is survived by: her children, John Kinsley, Stephen Kinsley (Margaret), Veronica Kinsley, Nadine Slomka (John), Edward Bartgen and Rick Bartgen (Amy); her stepdaughter Rebecca Bartgen; and her brothers, John Johnson (Raeita) and Lawrence Johnson (MaryLou). She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
