He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brenda DeRosa; his children, Katelyn DeRosa, Michael DeRosa, Joseph DeRosa, Denise DeRosa, Ron DeRosa (Jeannette), Amanda Torkilsen (Ron), Jeff McCumber (Mindy) and Brian McCumber (Angela); his grandchildren, Bailey, Nathan, Austin, Delainey, Addie, Ronnie, Wyatt and Logan; his great grandchild Mitchell; and his sisters, Carol Wagner, Judy DeRosa, Janet Roberts, Josie Smedberg (Steve) and Angie Jacobson (Danny).
