She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Chatz; her parents, Phil Handmacher and Betts Handmacher; and her grandchild Casey. She is survived by: her sons, Joey (Meg) and David Waxman (Jessica); her sister Debi Cohen (Alfred); her daughters, Julie Lerman (Mark), Cathy Smith and Barbara Bank (Keith); her nephew Jordan Cohen (Tovah); her niece Robbyn Ratskoff (Jason); and her grandchildren, Adam, Leo, Eloise, Riley, Bradyn, Gordy (Elana), Jake (Allison), Benjy (Stacey), Kyle (Allie), Valerie and Melissa.
