With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mort Greenberg (Glencoe, Illinois), who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Greenberg and Rose Greenberg; and his brother Sheldon Greenberg. He is survived by: his spouse Roda Greenberg; his children, Ilissa Greenberg (David), Barry Greenberg (Jennifer) and Michael Greenberg (Elise); his grandchildren, Samuel, Zachary, Matthew and Sydney; and his nieces and nephews, Steven, David, Zoe, Alaina, Nathan and Larry.

“Good friend for more than fifty years. We shared the fun and foibles of the advertising business, exchanged barbs and balls over a tennis net, and critiqued performances of Sondheim musicals. Mort was easy to like and equally easy to trust, making him a valued part of the lives of each of his many friends. The sadness brought by his absence goes beyond that of Roda, Lissa, Michael, and Barry---it is felt deeply by any and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard L. Eastline”
