She was predeceased by: her husband Barry; her grandchild Hannan Spak; her parents, Mae Greenman and Hyman Greenman; her siblings, Shirley Sostrin (Nathan) and Dr. Marshall Greenman (Lois); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Spak, Jay Spak (Nora) and Lorin Spak (Susan).

She is survived by: her children, Sue Galler (Jim Jorgensen), Dr. Bradley Spak (Debra) and Craig Spak (Hildy); her grandchildren, Margo Pactanac (Pierre), Meredith Srivastava (Prashant), David Cohn (Ana), Alexander Spak, Lu Banyan, Kaela Graham and Veronica (Nicolas) of Bontin; and her sibling Toby Aronstam (Joe).
