He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lyons and Sally Krager Lyons; his parents-in-law, Lamar Nantkes and Olyn Brockmeyer; his sister Jean Wankum; and his siblings-in-law, Judy and Mike Henry.
He is survived by: his wife JoEllen Nantkes; his son John Lyons (Katie) of Defiance, MO; his grandsons, Jack and Aidan; his brothers, Dick Lyons (Sharon) of Harvel and Jim Lyons of Geneva; his brother-in-law Bob Wankum of Jefferson City, MO; his mother-in-law Gert Brockmeyer; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Nantkes of Raymond, Carol Hampton (Mike) of Waggoner, Susan Aherin (Jim) of Farmersville, Danny Nantkes (Marty) of Lake and Greg Nantkes (Sheri) of Staunton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Per the family's request, they have asked that everyone wear a mask for the visitation and funeral.
