Roger B. Poeppel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger B. Poeppel of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Poeppel and Elsie "Sweet Mama" Poeppel (Miller); his wife Sarah (Goodwin); his children, Karen Poeppel (Cap), Alan Poeppel (Sharyn Yorio) of Kinnelon, NJ and Brian Poeppel (Anita) of Chillicothe, IL; his granddaughters, Lauren, Lucy, Susannah and Laura; and his siblings, Linda Kehoe of Hughson, CA and John.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the DuPage Care Center Foundation, 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187 (Roger received superior care in the rehabilitation wing there) or the Morton Arboretum, Lisle Illinois.
