He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Mehren and Ellen G. Mehren; his brother Robert G. Mehren; and his half-sister Ruth Wilson of Orlando, FL. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Mehren (Joseph Shapera), Jennifer Mehren (Benjamin Gutman) of Rockville, MD, Erik Mehren (Savannah Mehren) of Auburn, AL and Mary Studnicka (DeKalb); and his grandchildren, Max Gutman, Olivia Mehren, Erik Mehren Junior and Aurelie Mehren.
