It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Gillespie (Glen Ellyn, Illinois), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Gillespie and Lois A. Gillespie (Martin); and his children, Sue Crispin, Anne DiSandro (Jeff), Kathy Gillespie, Maureen Samsami (Dar) and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his grandchildren, Shannon Gillespie, Michael Crispin, Shelley Andrews (Matt), Kyle DiSandro, Nicole DiSandro, Lauren DiSandro, Emma Samsami, Ian Samsami, Eamon Samsami, Eleanor Samsami and Seamus Samsami; his great grandchildren, Austin, Caleb Lesniak, Grayson and Elton Gillespie; his sister Kathy Seagraves (Bob); his brothers-in-law, John Hanley (Gabriela), Bob Hanley (Barbara), Frank Hanley (Anne) and Kevin Hanley (Dorene); and also James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
