He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Arthur Hoornbeek and Nancy Durland Hoornbeek. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Couch Hoornbeek of Springfield; his sons, John Arthur Hoornbeek (Laurie Klappauf) of Hudson, David William Hoornbeek (Sue Paslaski) of Puyallup and Mark Benjamin Hoornbeek of Golden Valley, Minnesota; his brother Frank Durland Hoornbeek of Brooklyn; and his grandchildren, Allison Rae, Hannah Claire, Daniel John, Sarah Nancy, Zoe Berus and Sonja Lee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
