She is survived by: her children, Vicki Howell of Statesville, NC, Debra Cohen (Michael), David C. Howell, Jr. of Westmont, IL and Derek Howell of Naperville, IL; her sister Nancy Essary of Concord, NC; and her grandchildren, Trenton Harlan, Kimberly Howell and Bradley Howell (Carly). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
