It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine B. Andersen of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, born in Cambridge, New York, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Edward Andersen; her siblings, Martha Berry Briguglio (Philip) and Daniel Berry (Carolyn); and her granddaughter Emily Andersen Wilson (Dan). She is survived by: her children, Donald Andersen (Kerri Kennard Andersen), Elizabeth (Betsy), Mary Andersen-Couraud (Frank Couraud) and Andy Andersen (Beth Doucette Andersen); her grandchildren, Margaret Spoelhof (Maggie), Hannah Andersen Salit (Heath), Oliver Bashlawi (Annemarie Glaesel Bashlawi), Max Bashlawi, Julia Andersen Furukawa (Kenzo), Andrew Andersen and Mary Andersen; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Evelyn, Mitchell Wilson, Anders and Diederik Spoelhof; and her niece Diane Berry Jakubowski (Brian).
