With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janis Pfister of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janis left this world on January 29, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her child Robbie Pfister (Keriann); her parents, Glen Schaaf and Olga Schaaf; and her sibling Glen Schaaf (Betsy). She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Pfister; her children, Caroline Shields (Brian) and Charlie Pfister (Nell); her grandchildren, Nora, George, Samantha Shields and Louisa Pfister; and her sister Nancy Williams (Mark).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (535 Forest Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Glen Ellyn Children's Resource Center.
