He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mulcare and Louise Mulcare; and his sister RoseMarie Cooke. He is survived by: his wife Pat Mulcare; his children, Casey Mulcare (Amy) and Nancy Zgutowicz (Andy); his grandchildren, Danny, Lindsey, Gabby Mulcare, Jack, Caroline and Peter Zgutowicz; and his brother Joseph Mulcare. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leonard Memorial Funeral Home & Cremations (565 Duane St, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James the Apostle Church (480 S Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Jim's name to St. James the Apostle School (https://stjamesge.org) in Glen Ellyn, IL to support scholarships for Catholic Education or Waterleaf Women's Center.
