We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2024, at the age of 91, Helena I Kumpf of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Helena's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Helena has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Hermann; her children, George Kumpf (Christy) and Anita Pepich (Frank); her grandchildren, Harley Neumann and Christian Kumpf; her great grandchild Kaleia; and her siblings, Viola Peltonen, Pentti Kauppinen, Anneli Kulma, Hannu Kauppinen, Sinikka Harkonen and Juhani Kauppinen.
