He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Jessie; and his brothers, Tom (Alyce) and Jack (Kelly). He is survived by: his spouse Joan; his children, Shelley Hovde and Lindsey Nix (Ric); his grandchildren, Peter Lill-Hovde, Michael Hovde, Jon Hovde and Joe Probst; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Hovde and Heather Morgan.
