He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia "Patty"; his sons, Cory Schmid (Johnny) and Brian Coppoth; his grandchildren, Iyla and Alivia Schmid; his parents, Ziedonis Peterson and Valentine Peterson; his brothers-in-law, Steve and Dave Olson; and his pet Harley Davidsons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leonard Memorial (565 Duane St, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
