He was predeceased by: his siblings, Daniel, Patricia Muir (Jean), Paul, John (David) and Claude.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Galvin (Kay); his children, Carrie, Christopher and Kelly; his son-in-law David Baker; and his siblings, Thomas Maxwell and Nancy Maxwell Goldberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Glen Ellyn Public Library .
