She was predeceased by: her spouse Karl-Heinz Schubert; and her parents, Heinrich Gibbins and Henrietta Gibbins. She is survived by: her daughters, Ingrid Durham (Rodney) and Rita Schubert (John Mourlas); her granddaughters, Erika Rubo (Justin) and Gracie Durham (Michael Warren); her great grandchild Oliver Rubo; her siblings, Gertrude, Irmgard and Paul; and her nieces and nephews, Peter, Manfred, Klaus, Erika and Brigitte.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Lutheran Church (314 W Vallette St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
