He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Zalar and Margaret Bogozi; and his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his daughters, Terrie Doherty (Patrick) of Crystal Lake, IL and Tracie Vanderbeck (Jeff) of Pikeville, KY; his grandchildren, Brandon Doherty (Meghan), Brynna Harwerth (Andrew), AJ Vanderbeck (Alyssa Arterburn) and Leah Vanderbeck; and his great grandchildren, Sean Doherty, Owen Doherty, Colman Harwerth, Bennett Harwerth and Maeve Harwerth.
