She is survived by: her children, Carol Stephens-Jay and Kevin Stephens; her granddaughter Cierra Jay; and her sisters, Genevieve "Gen" Varda, Helen Graham, Marilyn Catalpa and Nancy Deason. She is also survived by sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
