It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil William Pinkley of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Virgil A. Pinkley; and his grandparents, W. C., Frances Railing, A. L. and Lucy Pinkley.
He is survived by: his mother Clare Pinkley (Railing) of Glen Carbon; his sisters, Susan (Richard Jung) and Christie (Robert Moore); his nephew Richard Grubb of Dayton, Ohio; his niece Kim Andrews of Springboro, Ohio; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella, Juliana, Gabriella, Lila, Owen and Liam. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to New Bethel United Methodist Church in Glen Carbon.
