Smiley Sr. of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Olive Branch, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Smiley and Lelah Louis Smiley (Hilton); his son Robert "Butch" R. Smiley, Jr.; and his siblings, Bill, Eddie Smiley and Patsy Marie Smiley.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy M. Smiley (Coyle); his children, Michelle Biggs (Tom) of Hamel, IL, Laurie Keegan Leavy (Carl) of Glen and Jim Smiley (Mary) of Highland, IL; his grandchildren, Brittany Cunefare (Ryan), Brandyn Biggs, Shelby Bernaix (Adam), Tiffany Dixon (Justin), Joshua Smiley, Andrea Keegan (Derek), Kassandra Hanson, Christina Morrow (Toby) and David Smiley; and his sisters, Jaunita Hodges, Cathy Cebulske and Lucile Boyles. He is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.
