Phillip David Achenbach Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 83, Phillip David Achenbach of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy M. Achenbach and Dorothy Mae Achenbach (Poor); his son Mark D. Achenbach; his siblings, Jeaneen Achenbach and Fred Achenbach; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Jones, James Reinhardt and Janice Houlihan.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Achenbach (Reinhardt); his children, Amy Girardier of St. Clair, Missouri and Eric R.; his daughter-in-law Tina Achenbach of Fenton, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ryan Antoff, Riley Girardier, Savannah Achenbach, Nicholas Achenbach, Emily Eimer and Jacqueline Eimer; his brother Levoy "Lee"; his sister-in-law Margaret Achenbach of Fitchburg, Massachusetts; his sisters, Donna Jones of Glen Carbon and Sue; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Riess of Saddlebrook, Missouri, Mark and Alice Reinhardt of Murray, Kentucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other extended family.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (155 N Main St, Glen Carbon, IL 62034).
