He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Tharp and Stella Tharp (Agnes); his sons, Perry Alexander Tharp, Roger Tharp and Jerry Tharp; and his siblings, Fred Tharp, Bobby Tharp, Kenneth Tharp, Katherine Marlock and Mary Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Rankin of Licking, MO, Linda Griffin (Ron) of Glen Carbon, Sharon Tharp of Maryland Heights, MO, Raymond Tharp of Edwardsville, IL and Eric Tharp of Salem, MO; and his sister Juanita Genta of O'Fallon, MO.. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren.
