With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggy Sue Walton of Glen Carbon, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Chester Rickman; and her brother-in-law Joe Carr. She is survived by: her mother Carrie Reed (Treadway); her husband Denny M. Walton of Glen Carbon, Illinois; her children, Donna Gray (Gary) of Glen Carbon and Guy Walton (Lesia) of Edwardsville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Ian Gray (Caitlynd), Aubree Stephens (Cory), Chelsey Pierson (Andrew) and Chad Walton (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Nolan, Stetson, Brynlee, Bowen, Jerica, Ainsley and Uriah; and her siblings, Ruby Fletcher (Fred), Ray Rickman (Marie), Bruce Rickman (Sue), Linda Carr and Mike Rickman (Charlotte). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
