He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence DeGonia and Lorena DeGonia. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Schaefer of Granite City, Illinois.; his sons, Brian DeGonia of Elk Grove and Scott DeGonia of Hardeeville; his daughter-in-law Debbie DeGonia; his grandson Steve DeGonia of Hardeeville; and his brother Clarence DeGonia of Granite City. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
