It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mark Diak of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 71, on November 2, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Diak and Josephine J. Diak (Nvota); and his sister Patricia Diak. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Diak (Shaffer); his children, Mike, Laura Diak of Maryville, Becky, Nick Sutton of Addison and Doug Diak of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Drew Diak, Brendan Diak, Emme Diak, Oliver Sutton and Jack Sutton; and his sisters, Elaine (Jim Urbanek) of Chicago Heights and Dianne (Robert Peabody) of St. Louis. He is also survived by many cousins; nieces; nephews; other extended family.

Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council #6625 in Maryville or to the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville. Keep Mark's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
