He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Diak and Josephine J. Diak (Nvota); and his sister Patricia Diak. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Diak (Shaffer); his children, Mike, Laura Diak of Maryville, Becky, Nick Sutton of Addison and Doug Diak of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Drew Diak, Brendan Diak, Emme Diak, Oliver Sutton and Jack Sutton; and his sisters, Elaine (Jim Urbanek) of Chicago Heights and Dianne (Robert Peabody) of St. Louis. He is also survived by many cousins; nieces; nephews; other extended family.
