It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Irene Whaley of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Venice, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Shambro and Alice Shambro (Siatta); her husband Edward Glennon Whaley; and her sisters, Annie, Maggie and Rosie.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Paul Wuebbels), Mark (Lynne Whaley), Michael (Jane Whaley), George (Karen Whaley) and Joseph (Theresa Whaley); and her sister Josie Johnisee of Glen Carbon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be give to Vitas Hospice.
