Luther D. Statler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 88, Luther D. Statler in Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luther D. Statler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Carol (Allen Statler-Gauger); his parents, Luther J. Statler and Vera Jean Statler (Miller); and his sister Jacqueline (James Davenport). He is survived by: his wife Charleen M. Statler (Peetz); his son Mark (Toni Statler); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Victoria Statler), Jamie and Craig Moline; his great grandchildren, Creighton, Rhys Moline and Charlotte Statler; and his sibling Sabra (late Charles Mahaney).
Due to the coronavirus a memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St. John United Methodist Church in Edwardsville Building fund or The Gardens at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.
