She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mateyka and Katherine Mateyka (Watsek); and her siblings, Raymond, Joseph, Leo, Dorothy Altefogt and Margaret Mateyka.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Semanisin (Joe) of Maryville and Dan Hamilos (Sue) of Medfield, MA; her grandchildren, Vicki Fuhrhop (Tom) of Troy, Mike Semanisin (Kim) of Edwardsville, Andrea Wasem (Adam) of Chicago, Paul Hamilos (Heather) of Dublin, CA and Allison Hamilos of Cambridge, MA; her great grandchildren, Brett Conway of Cottonwood, AZ, Nicole Conway of Troy, Parker Hamilos of Dublin, CA and Christian Wasem of Chicago, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Eileen Mateyka, Katherine Butkovich, Dorothy Hamilos and Mary Grace Hohn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Masses at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon.
