He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brandsma and Jessie Brandsma; and his wife June Brandsma. He is survived by: his children, David Brandsma and Susan Liening; his brother-in-law Donald Sproul; his grandchildren, Brandi Ferrer (Glenn), Jessie Self (Shane), Kristin McGraw (Matt) and Jon Liening (Carolyn); and his great grandchildren, Mazzy, Jagger, Evan, Sam, Claire, Jacob, Eric and Archie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
