We bid farewell to Joseph M. Galeaz of Glen Carbon, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 91. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Candido Galeaz and Maria Galeaz; and his grandson Sean Galeaz. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Kerry Galeaz (Patty) of Lamoine, ME, Kevin Galeaz (Robin) of Hookset, NH and Kim Greenwalt (Jeff) of Whitestown, IN; his grandchildren, Alexander Galeaz, Zachary Galeaz, Tiffany Pieper and Kristie Galeaz; his godchildren, Katrina, Kristina Doddot of Glen Carbon, Tony, Nora Parr of New Baden, Penny, Keith Willeford of Glen Carbon, Joedy and Kyle Basden of Highland; and also Tony Durbin (Elena).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (305 Washington St, St Jacob, IL 62281). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St. James Parish in St. Jacob and/or The New Horizons Band in Godfrey.
