He is survived by: his children, James W. Kovarik, Jr. (Michelle) of Glen Carbon, Andrew C. Kovarik (Kim) of Edwardsville and Jamie Foster (Shedrick) of Glen Carbon; his grandchildren, Hana Olliges (Race), Jacob Foster, Gayla Osborn (Jonathan), Laura, Joseph, Maria Kovarik, Megan and Ryan Kovarik; and his great grandchildren, Brynn and Maxene Olliges.
