With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gladys Evelyn Lambrich of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Mount Erie, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gladys Evelyn left this world on November 7, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles C. Lambrich; her parents, Sam Shannon and Hazel Shannon; and her sisters, Joyce Madding and Marjorie Hedrick.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Lambrich of Cisne, IL, Judith Sutton (Richard) of Manassas, VA and Mary Kay Lambrich (Frank Podgajny) of Glen Carbon, IL; her grandchildren, Jason, Austin Lambrich, Ashlee Spannagel (Brian), Chad Sutton (Janene) and Mark Sutton (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Nick Sutton, Kayla Sutton, Aimee Sutton, Emmeline Sutton, Lucy Sutton, Lucas Lambrich and Isabel Lambrich; and her sisters, Peggy Watson of Edwardsville, IL, Mary Lou Simpson of Fairfield, IL and Betty Enlow of Mt. Erie, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (7110 IL-162, Maryville, IL 62062). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cisne Cemetery.
