It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry A. Kirst of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Farrar, Missouri, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Koenig and Esther Koenig; and her siblings, Mickey, Fern, Gladys and Merlin.

She is survived by: her husband Rev. Donald Kirst; her daughters, Sherrie Smith (Bruce) of Justice, IL, Donna Kirst of Collinsville, IL, Lorrie Kirst of Manassas, VA and Tonya Peter (David) of Kirkwood, MO; her grandchildren, Kirsten, Kaitlyn (Roman), Kenton (Audrey), Ethan and Benjamin; and her siblings, Rich Koenig (Dot) of Jackson, MO and Jean Poenitske (Marv) of Brentwood, TN..

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are required to be worn.
