He was predeceased by: his cousin Derrick Schindler. He is survived by: his parents, Eric Schindler and Kristen Frisbee Schindler; his siblings, Logan Schindler, Ava Schindler, Dunya Mikhayel and Ethan Jackson; his great-grandparent Anna Kelly; his grandparents, Karen, Jerry Frisbee, Judith and Richard Schindler; his uncles, Aaron, Ryan Schindler and Nathan Frisbee; his aunt Catina Frisbee; his cousins, Carter, Madeline Frisbee, Kristen Fish, Destiney Lackey, Emily Schindler, Rylee Schindler and Blake Schindler; and his nephew Khalil Baltajan. He is also survived by many other uncles, aunts and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gavin's church family at The Bridge Church and will be received at the service or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
