With solemn reverence, we commemorate Elaine Joy Triebes of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, whose life came to an end on February 10, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Will; and her son Steven. She is survived by: her children, David Triebes (Carol) of Corvallis, OR, James Triebes of Maryville, IL, Paul Triebes (Marsha) of Jerseyville, IL and Nancy White (late Michael) of Virginia Beach, VA.; her grandchildren, Erik Triebes (Jennifer), Kari Triebes Goodyear (Russ), Shiloh Erven (Erin), Callie Nanoski (Tim), Matthew Triebes, Kasia Kingsriter, Karyn Schulte (Scott), Kevin Triebes (Amanda), Kyle Triebes, Amanda Mutter (Matthew) and Mackenzie White; and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Izabella, Wynnie, Cameron, Sofia, Demi, Allie, Brooks, Roy, Sawyer, Aspyn, Georgia and Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meridian Village Chapel (27 Auerbach Pl, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be directed to Meridian Village Benevolent Fund.
