It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Glennon Whaley of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Whaley and Elizabeth Whaley (Boyer); and his siblings, James Whaley Sr., Charles Whaley, Melvin Whaley, George Whaley, Mary Hornback and Loretta Stanfill.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Whaley of Glen Carbon, IL; and his children, Lynn Wuebbels (Paul) of St. Louis, MO, Marc Whaley (Lynne) of Palm Springs, CA, Michael Whaley (Jane) of Branson, MO, George Whaley (Karen) of Highland, IL and Joseph Whaley (Theresa) of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
