It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Gerdt of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred; her daughter Karen Sue Gerdt; her parents, Otto Lippoldt and Sophia Lippoldt; and her sister Helen Eales.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Pautler (Charles) of Belleville and Sharon Marschalek (Doug) of Madison, WI.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Pautler, Jessica Pautler, Nicole Cook (Tim), Jim Marschalek (Courtney) and Dan Marschalek (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Piya, Pahkin Marschalek, Sabina Marschalek and Molly Cook.
Memorials may be made to the Meals On Wheels Program or the Godfrey Evangelical United Church of Christ in her memory.
