He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Shorty" Slinkard and Elizabeth "Hattie" Slinkard (Cook). He is survived by: his wife Paulina Kay Slinkard (Jackman); his children, Ben Slinkard of Orting, WA and Jennifer Slaughter (Ean) of Glen Carbon, IL; his grandsons, Luke and Sam Slaughter; and his brother Louis Slinkard (Sharon) of High Ridge, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
