It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Alvin Hosto of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Alhambra, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Hosto and Lena Hosto (Kruse); his wife Marlene Maedge; and his siblings, Arlen Hosto and Aylene Hosto.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Hosto (Laurie) of Edwardsville, Lynne Barrow (Richard) of Eloy, AZ and Kathy Heuermann of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Shane Hosto, Jeremy Allensworth (Tiffani), Matthew Allensworth, Andrew Barrow, Taylor, Alexander, Madison and Jacob Heuermann; his great grandchildren, Harper, Hadley, Huntyr, Ryker and Caroline; his stepgrandchildren, Olivia Hall and Seth Fudge; and his sister Dorothy Hosto of Alhambra.
The family requests memorials to the First Baptist Church.
