Wilma Lee Mitchell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 96, Wilma Lee Mitchell of Glasford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee and Ruth S. Scott (Bradley); her son William Mitchell; and her siblings, Betty Matz, Norma Baker, William and James Scott.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Franklin Mitchell; her daughters, Roberta Ziegler (Larry) and Jenifer Schafer (Steve); her daughter-in-law Ann Mitchell; her grandchildren, Cara Helminski (Erik), Tyler Ziegler (Chandy), Trent Ziegler (Laura Pendleton), Megan Cline (Brian), Melissa Mitchell, Robert Mitchell (Jessica), Ryne Schafer (Jill), Stephani Schafer (Kerri) and Abbi Webb (Logan); and her great grandchildren, Evan Wendt, Ella, Emma Helminski, Colton, Caden, Burke, Kathleen Ziegler, Brooks, Audrey, Bennet Cline, William, Margaret Lee Mitchell, Lena, Blaire, Nora, Callen, Bowen Schafer and Willa Webb.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glasford Baptist Church (209 E 5th St, Glasford, IL 61533). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
