He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Jacob and Josephine Mary Grebner (Theobald); his siblings, Herman, Harley, Marion Grebner and Mary Lou Chism; and his son-in-law Jayson Essex.

He is survived by: his children, Candy Fralick (Bill) of Farmington, Cindy Miller (Bob) of Glasford, Walter Jay Grebner of Dryden, MI and Cheryl Berry (Rick) of Glasford; and his grandchildren, Jade Essex of Farmington, Shelby Berry of Peoria and Reid Berry (Mackenzie Brunet) of Lone Tree, CO..

Memorials are suggested to the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
