He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gordon and Lola Belle Dobey (Coats); his wife Linda S Gordon (Hansen); his stepmother Neva Gordon; his grandson Corey Dawson; and his brothers, Gene Gordon (Shirley), Michael Gordon and Steve Dobey.

He is survived by: his children, Vickie Gordon (Linda Brillon), Douglas Gordon (Sandra), Patricia Walker (Richard), Karen Dawson (Jerry Porters) and Barbara Russell (Richard); his siblings, Larry Gordon (Sandy), Jim Gordon (Linda), Dorothy Caho and Richard; his grandchildren, Bill Dobey (Kathy) and Toni Dobey; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Gordon and Chris Dobey. He is also survived by 8 grand children and 11 great grand children.
